Range, contour & shapes
The J3 Back is designed with a variety of contour depths, support heights and support shapes to fit almost every adult. This incredible range eliminates compromises and guarantees a correct fit almost every time.
The J3 range consists of a multitude of shapes and sizes, including:
Four Levels of support (height).
The user can choose between 4 different levels of support, depending on their functional needs and level of trunk stability.
a) Shoulder Height
(shallow/deep contour)
b) Upper Thoracic
(shallow/deep contour)
c) Mid Thoracic
(shallow contour)
d) Lower Thoracic
(shallow contour)
Note: Fixed and swing-away laterals are available in upper thoracic and shoulder height.
Three Back support heights.
Due to varying user heights, two individuals may both need support at the same location on the spine but require different back heights. To compensate for this, each level of support within the J3 range offers 3 back support heights:
a) Short
b) Medium
c) Tall
Two Contour depths (lateral support).
The J3 Back offers the user 2 types of contour depth:
a) Shallow contour (5.6cm depth)
b) Deep contour (15.3cm depth)
Finally, the J3 back is available in a variety of widths that are selected in accordance with trunk and chair width, ensuring that the back will fit the user as well as the chair.
